Permanent BMP
Annual Operation and Maintenance Verification
Submittal Portal

This web portal will allow you to:

  • Review Permanent BMP information associated with your property.
  • Document your required annual BMP evaluation and maintenance activities.

Background

Development projects constructed within the City of Encinitas are commonly required to install permanent BMPs (Best Management Practices) to treat stormwater runoff. Permanent BMPs provide a critical function for downstream creek and ocean water quality. Proper operation and routine maintenance of these BMPs is necessary to achieve maximum water quality benefits.

Annual evaluation, maintenance, and routine operation of permanent BMPs by the property owner is required per city of Encinitas Municipal Code (EMC) Section 20.08, the San Diego Municipal Stormwater Permit, as well as property related legal agreements.

Locate your BMPs using the myEncinitas App

The City's myEncinitas mapping application can be used to view the location of your permanent BMPs. Visit the City's main webpage or click on the following link http://myencinitas.encinitasca.gov. Once the application is open, click on the Stormwater tab at the top and enter your property address in the search box below the map.
